The Kano State Hajj Delegation Committee for the 2025 pilgrimage, chaired by the Emir of Karaye, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, has finalized its interim report detailing activities undertaken since its inauguration.

This development was disclosed at the Emir’s Palace in Karaye, where the announcement was made by the Committee’s Public Relations Officer, Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi.
According to the statement, the interim report provides a comprehensive account of the Committee’s engagements and responsibilities since it was constituted in Makkah by the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf. The Emir emphasized that the report will serve as a foundation for the final comprehensive report to be formally submitted to the Governor.
Expressing his gratitude, His Royal Highness thanked the Governor for the confidence reposed in him to lead the delegation and contribute to the success of the Hajj operations.
Also speaking at the event, the Secretary of the Committee and Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, highlighted that the interim report will be officially presented to the Governor as part of the Committee’s mandate. He noted that this milestone signifies the conclusion of the Committee’s immediate assignment.
Alhaji Danbappa further revealed that the Pilgrims Welfare Board has completed its own comprehensive report, which is now ready for submission to the Governor.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, commended the Emir of Karaye for his leadership, dedication, and collaboration throughout the assignment, which he described as instrumental to the successful outcome of the Committee’s work.
