The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that visas for all registered pilgrims from the state for the 2026 Hajj exercise have been received and successfully printed.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Board Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, said the Director General of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, made this known while speaking from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he is overseeing preparations for the forthcoming pilgrimage.
According to him, there are no challenges whatsoever regarding visa processing for Kano State pilgrims, as all visas have already been printed and duly attached to the international passports of the registered pilgrims.
The Director General therefore advised intending pilgrims and members of the public to disregard any rumours or misleading information circulating about delays or problems with visa issuance.
He urged the public to avoid spreading unverified messages, fake links, or speculative reports capable of causing unnecessary anxiety.
Alhaji Matawalle further revealed that officials of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board are currently in Saudi Arabia working round the clock to finalize critical arrangements aimed at ensuring a smooth, well-coordinated and successful Hajj exercise for pilgrims from Kano State.
The Board reassured all registered pilgrims that comprehensive preparations are ongoing to safeguard their welfare, safety, and comfort throughout the pilgrimage.
