The Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, has lauded the exceptional performance of the Commission’s staff stationed in Madinah for their seamless handling of the arrival of Nigerian pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj.
In a statement issued in Abuja, by the Assistant Director Information and Publications of the Commission Fatima Sanda Usara, said Professor Usman commended the team’s dedication, resilience, and selfless service in ensuring a warm and well-coordinated reception for pilgrims. He noted that the staff have gone the extra mile—often sacrificing rest—to provide meals, guidance, and care to the early arrivals.
The NAHCON boss also extended his appreciation to airline operators and other strategic partners for their crucial roles in facilitating a smooth operation so far. “This success is a product of synergy. Our staff, the airlines, and all stakeholders have shown what collaboration can achieve,” he said.
As preparations shift to Makkah for the next phase of the Hajj, Professor Usman expressed confidence in the readiness of the Makkah team, promising that the high standards set in Madinah will not only be matched but surpassed.
He concluded with prayers for continued success throughout the Hajj season and reaffirmed NAHCON’s commitment to delivering effective and efficient services in line with its mission.
