The first batch of Bauchi State pilgrims numbering 546 have arrived Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport Bauchi safely , after completion of this year’s pilgrimage.
In statement signed by the Information Officer of the Board, Muhammad Sanu Yunusa and posted on the official Facebook handle of the Agency, said the pilgrims arrived today Monday 24th June, 2024 at about 11:30pm via Max Air flight NGL 2006 and they couldn’t hide their excitement for reuniting with thier families.
The pilgrims were those who paid their Hajj fares from Ganjuwa, Dass, Tafawa Balewa LGAs, Board Headquarters and majority of them are Hajj Savings Scheme pilgrims.
In an interview with them, Some of pilgrims expressed gratitude to almighty Allah for bringing them back home safely and appreciated His Excellency, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his unflinching support to ensure their well being throughout Hajj exercise.
According to them government has made proper arrangements for their feeding, secured good accommodation and donated an incentives to them to perform the Hajj rites at ease.
In thier separate responses, Shiek Salihu Sulaiman Ningi and Mal Hassan Zango thanked Almighty Allah for giving them the opportunity to be among those who performed this year’s hajj and appreciated the pilgrims for always showing interest to have knowledge before performing each Hajj rites.
