The Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced N8,457,685.59 as the official fare for intending pilgrims participating in the 2025 Hajj.
This announcement aligns with the recent declaration of the 2025 Hajj fare by the National Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman.
In a statement by the Board’s Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Badaru Bello Karofi, intending pilgrims who made an initial deposit of N8.4 million are required to pay the balance of N57,685.59 before January 31, 2025. Alternatively, intending pilgrims can make a full payment of N8,457,685.59 before the January 30 deadline to secure their spot for the pilgrimage.
The statement emphasized that all payments must be made through bank drafts as cash transactions will not be accepted. The deadline is crucial for enabling the Board to compile an accurate list of intending pilgrims and remit the collected funds to NAHCON in preparation for the 2025 Hajj exercise.
Prospective pilgrims are advised to adhere strictly to the payment guidelines to ensure a smooth process for this year’s Hajj operations.
