The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has recorded a major success in its preparations for the 2026 Hajj, with the successful processing and acquisition of visas for a large number of intending pilgrims from the state.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Habibu Yusuf Babura, this development represents a significant step forward in the Board’s commitment to ensuring a seamless and well-coordinated Hajj operation.
The achievement follows a carefully managed and efficient visa processing exercise carried out by the Board.
Speaking on the progress, the Director General, Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo, commended the dedication of staff and stakeholders whose collective efforts made the milestone possible.
He reaffirmed the Board’s resolve to sustain the momentum and ensure that all remaining arrangements are concluded smoothly and in good time.
The Board remains confident that, with continued cooperation and adherence to guidelines, the entire Hajj exercise will be conducted successfully.
