Jigawa Pilgrims Board Seeks Smooth Immigration Process for 2026 Hajj

The Director General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo, has called upon the comptroler state Immigration to ensure seamless and smooth processes for 2026 Hajj pilgrims during screening at the airport.

​According to the Public Relations Officer of the Board Habibu Yusuf Babura, Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo made this request during a by meeting wit the Comptroller at the the board, where they discussed strategies to enhance security arrangements for the 2026 Hajj operation.

​He added that the provision of efficient screening equipment and procedures, which will facilitate screening without delay, will significantly help in easing the process for pilgrims and ensure timely boarding for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

​Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo further requested security agencies’ cooperation to oversee the safety and property of pilgrims from the Hajj camp to the airport before departing to Saudi Arabia.

He also thanked all the security agencies for their continued cooperation and support, wishing everyone a successful Hajj operation.

​On their part, the security agencies have assured the board of 100% support, pledging to assist in providing security and ensuring the well-being of Hajj pilgrims during the operation.
