The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has launched a special radio program designed to assist intending pilgrims in completing their Hajj induction course during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Board Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, said the announcement was made by the Director General of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, during the official closing ceremony of the weekly Hajj Induction Course held at the School for Arabic Studies, Kano.
According to the Director General, the initiative aims to make Hajj education more accessible by enabling pilgrims to follow induction lectures from the comfort of their homes through designated radio stations during Ramadan.
He explained that the program will provide detailed guidance on Hajj rites, travel procedures, health requirements, and spiritual preparation, ensuring that all registered pilgrims are well-informed and fully prepared for the sacred journey.
Alhaji Abubakar Matawalle assured the public of the Board’s commitment and readiness, stating that all necessary arrangements have already been put in place to ensure a smooth experience for pilgrims from their departure in Kano to their stay in the Holy Land.
He emphasized that the Board remains dedicated to providing continuous support, proper orientation, and welfare services to guarantee a successful and spiritually fulfilling Hajj exercise for all pilgrims from Kano State.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board encourages all intending pilgrims to actively participate in the radio induction program and take advantage of the opportunity to enhance their understanding of Hajj rites during the blessed month of Ramadan.
