The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has successfully concluded the sale of Hajj seats for the 2025 pilgrimage, ensuring that intending pilgrims from Kano State are well-prepared for the spiritual journey.
Following the completion of the seat allocation process, the Board has remitted over ₦19 billion to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON ) as payment for Kano State pilgrims.
The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, made this announcement today during a crucial meeting with Local Government Hajj Center Officers and Zonal Coordinators in his office. He reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to facilitating a smooth and seamless Hajj experience for all registered pilgrims.
Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u further assured the public that all necessary arrangements are being made to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of Kano State pilgrims throughout the Hajj exercise.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, appreciated the cooperation of Local Government Hajj Center Officers and Zonal Coordinators, urging them to remain informed about further updates regarding the pilgrimage process.
In the same vein, the Director General received a delegation from the National Hajj Savings Scheme, who paid him a courtesy visit.
The Team Leader of the Hajj Savings Scheme, Alhaji Auwalu Aliyu Kazaure, stated that their visit to the Kano Pilgrims Welfare Board was to strengthen their partnership and continue collaborative efforts.
Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa expressed his appreciation for the visit and pledged to work hand in hand with the scheme to ensure the success of the initiative.
