Hajiya Yelwa Takai experienced a sudden health crisis during the pilgrimage and received immediate medical attention in Saudi Arabia. The authorities in the Kingdom, in collaboration with the Nigerian Consulate, ensured that she was provided with the necessary care until she was stable enough to travel.

Upon her return, she was warmly received by officials of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa expressed his gratitude to the Saudi authorities, the Nigerian Consulate in Saudi Arabia, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, and all individuals involved in ensuring the safe return of Hajiya Yelwa Takai.

He also assured that the Board remains committed to the well-being of all pilgrims and will continue to provide support to those in need.
