Kano, June 13, 2024 – Laminu Rabi’u Danbappa, the Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has commended the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for its recent implementation of a new screening system for pilgrims.
This innovative approach involves using scanners to check each pilgrim before they enter vehicles for transportation to Mina.
Danbappa highlighted that this new system marks a significant advancement in ensuring the safety and security of all pilgrims during the Hajj. By integrating advanced scanning technology, the Saudi authorities are taking proactive measures to prevent potential security threats and streamline the movement of pilgrims.
