The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, under the dynamic leadership of its Director General, Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo, successfully conducted a one-day induction program

​In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Agency, Habibu Yusuf Babura, said the comprehensive induction was designed to equip new center officers from the 27 local governments, alongside zonal officers and staff, with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure a seamless and successful Hajj operation for Jigawa pilgrims for the year 2026.

​The induction program covered critical areas including center operational guidelines, pilgrim management procedures from Hajj Camp to Airport, and the logistics of Makkah, Jeddah, Mina, and Arafat.

Participants were also emphasized with the importance of patience and open-door policy.
​During the event,

the Director General presented appointment letters to the new center officers. He acknowledged the immense support from the Governor of Jigawa State,

Malam Umar Namadi, whose commitment has enabled the board to conduct such crucial inductions for a successful Hajj pilgrimage.

​The goal is to ensure a smooth and satisfactory Hajj experience for all Jigawa pilgrims, setting a benchmark for other states in Nigeria.
