The Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA) has reiterated its commitment to partnering with Islamic organizations to enhance the successful conduct of Hajj operations in the state.

In a statement by the Head of Information and Communication of the Board, Faruku Umar, said the Chairman of the Agency, Alhaji Aliyu Musa, gave this assurance today while receiving the Executive Members of Darul Qadiriyya Sokoto, who paid him a courtesy visit.

Alhaji Aliyu Musa emphasized that Hajj, being one of the five pillars of Islam, requires the collective support and cooperation of all stakeholders, particularly Islamic organizations, to ensure effective planning and successful implementation.

He assured the leadership of Darul Qadiriyya Sokoto of the Agency’s readiness to support and collaborate with them at all times in promoting smooth and spiritually rewarding Hajj exercises.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Mallam Ibrahim Maidamma, Commander of the Darul Qadiriyya Aid Group, commended the leadership of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency for the successful conduct of the 2025 Hajj exercise.

He stated that the visit was aimed at reiterating the group’s continued prayers, goodwill, and support to the Agency in the discharge of its responsibilities.
