The National Union of Bauchi State Student (NUBASS) Saadu Zungur University Chapter has appreciated the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris for the construction of a befitting Bus stop station to student at the Campus.
The Union invites the Executive Secretary ES for commissioning of the initiative and requested him to sponsor an additional more bus stop so as to have male and female station respectively.
The commendation and request according to the Information Officer of the Board, Muhammed Sani Yunusa, were made today when the leadership of the union paid a courtesy visit to Bauchi Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
The delegation under the President NUBASS Saadu Zungur University Chapter Comrade Abubakar Ahmed Isah who acknowledged the support of the Executive Secretary to student, said the gesture is part of the yearning of the student and would surely improve their well-being at the Campus.
Responding the Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris expressed delight for the visit and pledged his continued synergy with the NUBASS for the overall interest of the student and Bauchi State at large.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of an award of Excellence by the Union to Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris in recognition of his meritorious track record in protecting the interest of the Youth and students in particular.
