The University of Sargodha hosted a memorable evening, including “Annual Dinner, Hajj & Umrah and Employee of the Year Award 2024 Ceremony,” to pay tribute to its administrative staff from BS 1-16.
The event was graced by Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas along with the Vice Chancellor of Emerson University Multan Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ramzan, Vice Chancellor University of Education Prof. Dr. Aqif Anwar, the Vice Chancellor of GCUF Faisalabad. Prof. Dr. Rauf-I-Azam, Vice Chancellor MNS UET Multan Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor UVAS University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younas Rana, Vice Chancellor LCWU Prof. Dr. Uzam Qureshi, Vice Chancellor GCWU Faisalabad Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, Vice Chancellor GCWU Sialkot Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir, Vice Chancellor Thal University Bhakkar Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Buzdar, the Vice Chancellor University of Jhang Prof. Dr. Faheem Aftab, Pro Vice-Chancellor of UoS Prof. Dr. Mian Ghulam Yasin, Deans, Directors, and Heads of academic and administrative units within the university.
A highlight of the evening was the generous distribution of “Umrah Packages” through a lucky draw, with 20 staff and faculty members receiving this heartfelt reward for their dedication and hard work. Additionally, 70 staff members were recognized with the prestigious “Employee of the Year 2024” award, celebrating their significant contributions to the university’s success.
The event also served as a platform for fostering academic collaborations, featuring a signing ceremony for Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between the University of Sargodha and several institutions, including the University of Education Lahore, GCUF, LCWU, GCWU Faisalabad, GCWU Sialkot, Thal University Bhakkar, and the University of Jhang. These agreements signify a commitment to collaborate in academics, research, innovation, and exchange programs, highlighting a joint pursuit of excellence.
The esteemed vice chancellors expressed their appreciation for Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas’s relentless efforts to enhance the University of Sargodha’s national and international rankings. They commended his dedication to creating a dynamic and supportive environment within the university, fostering a strong sense of community among staff and faculty.
