The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced 8th February, 2026 as the final deadline for data capturing of intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, said the announcement was made by the Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, through Sheikh Tijjani Sani Maihula, a member of the Board of Directors

According to the Director General, the deadline is in strict compliance with a directive from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), which mandates all states to conclude data capturing for intending pilgrims on or before 8th February, 2026.
He disclosed this today during a joint meeting between Board staff and Local Government Hajj Centre officers, held at the Board’s headquarters.

The Director General urged all intending pilgrims who are yet to submit their international passports to the Board to do so before the deadline, stressing that no extension will be granted after the stipulated date. He also called on Local Government Hajj Centre officers to intensify awareness campaigns to ensure full compliance.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board reassures the general public of its continued commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and successful Hajj operation for the 2026 pilgrimage.
