The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, has called on staff of the Board to remain dedicated, committed, and disciplined in the discharge of their official duties.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, said Matawalle made the call during a general staff meeting held today at the Board’s Conference Hall.
He emphasized that dedication to service is crucial to achieving the Board’s mandate of providing effective and efficient welfare services to pilgrims.
The Director General assured staff of his administration’s readiness to prioritize their welfare and provide a conducive working environment.
He stated that management would continue to do everything possible to support staff in carrying out their responsibilities smoothly.
As part of measures to enhance productivity, Alhaji Matawalle announced plans to establish a Staff Welfare Desk Officer who will be responsible for handling staff-related challenges, particularly cases involving incapacitated personnel from time to time.
According to him, the initiative is aimed at easing staff difficulties and improving overall service delivery.
He urged all staff members to reciprocate management’s efforts by demonstrating dedication, honesty, discipline, and teamwork in the performance of their duties.
