The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has extended the registration deadline for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to February 10, 2025.
The Chairman of the Commission, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, disclosed this through a phone conversation with the Coordinator of the Nigerian Hajj Media Support Team, Ibrahim Abubakar Nagarta.
The extension aims to accommodate more intending pilgrims and ensure a smooth registration process for the upcoming pilgrimage. Professor Usman urged intending pilgrims to take advantage of the new deadline and complete their registration before the cut-off date.
The commission had earlier set a deadline but decided to extend it due to various considerations, including the need to allow more people to participate in the spiritual journey.
NAHCON reassured pilgrims that all necessary arrangements are being put in place to facilitate a seamless and well-organized Hajj exercise.
