A Saudi citizen has been hailed for his life-saving intervention after rescuing a 1.5-year-old girl who suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest at the Quba Mosque.

The incident occurred when the toddler suddenly collapsed, prompting the trained responder to act without hesitation. Drawing on skills acquired through the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, he immediately administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), stabilizing the child before professional help arrived.

Emergency medical teams later reached the scene and confirmed that the girl’s pulse and consciousness had been successfully restored, thanks to the timely intervention.

The dramatic rescue highlights the importance of community-based first aid training, demonstrating how prompt action in critical moments can make the difference between life and death.
