The ED-Kabir Kano Hajj Delegation Committee extends warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to the entire Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Arafat exercise for the 2025 Hajj season.
In the spirit of unity, devotion, and faith, the Committee acknowledges the profound significance of this sacred journey and joins Muslims across the globe in celebrating the blessings of this holy season. As thousands of pilgrims fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam, the Committee reaffirms its commitment to ensuring a safe, dignified, and spiritually rewarding pilgrimage for all Kano State pilgrims.
Speaking at a recent gathering, the Head of the Delegation Committee, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Muhammad Maharaz, emphasized the importance of collaboration, discipline, and prayer as pilgrims proceed to the sacred sites of Makkah and Madinah. “We are proud to serve our people in this noble endeavor and pray for a peaceful and successful Hajj for all,” he stated.
The Committee Secretary and Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, commended the efforts of the Kano State Government, the Saudi authorities, and Nigeria’s National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) for their unwavering support and coordination. The Delegation Committee has taken proactive steps to ensure that pilgrims are well-guided, spiritually prepared, and medically fit for this journey of a lifetime.
As the Day of Arafat is observed, the Committee calls on all Muslims to pray for global peace, the unity of the Ummah, and the continued prosperity of Kano State and Nigeria at large.
