The Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar Namadi, has formally approved the appointment of 27 Local Government Center Officers to the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of Jigawa State Pilgrims Board, Habibu Yusuf Babura, said this significant development is a crucial step in the preparations for the upcoming 2026 Hajj operation.

​The appointments underscore Governor Namadi’s commitment to providing unwavering support to the state’s intending pilgrims, aiming to ensure a seamless and comfortable experience throughout the Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.

This gesture plays a vital role in enhancing the operational efficiency of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board.

​In his congratulatory message, the Director-General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhji Ahamed Umar Labbo, commended the new appointees, urging them to discharge their duties diligently.

He emphasized the importance of serving as good ambassadors of Jigawa and Nigeria throughout the pilgrimage.

Labbo thanks ​Governor Namadi for unwavering support to the indigenous of the state is expected to significantly impact the success of the 2026 Hajj operation.
