The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has confirmed that preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise are on course, with all necessary arrangements nearing completion.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Agency, Ibrahim Datti, the first batch of intending pilgrims from the state is scheduled to depart for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on May 14, 2026, signaling the start of the official airlift of Kaduna pilgrims for this year’s Hajj.
The Agency emphasized its readiness to conduct a smooth and hitch-free operation, noting that adequate measures have been put in place to address logistics, health protocols, and pilgrims’ orientation ahead of the journey.
It urged all intending pilgrims to remain vigilant and comply strictly with instructions, schedules, and updates that will be communicated through official channels.
The Agency also expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their continued support and prayed for a successful and spiritually rewarding Hajj exercise for all participants.
