The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with government agencies to enhance Hajj operations.

Speaking while receiving a delegation from the Kano State Transport Authority (Kano Line) in his office, Danbappa emphasized that collaboration with relevant stakeholders is a key priority for the Board. He recalled making a pledge before the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, to foster synergy among government institutions for the smooth execution of Hajj-related activities.

 

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of Board, Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, said Danbappa assured that Kano Line would play a vital role in the upcoming Hajj operations, adding that the Board would provide all necessary logistics requirements in advance to ensure efficient planning and execution of transportation services for pilgrims.

 

In his remarks, the Managing Director of Kano Line, Alhaji Sa’idu Abdullahi Shu’aibu, highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between the transport agency and the Pilgrims Welfare Board. He noted that their visit aimed to revive the longstanding partnership between the two institutions, aligning with the state government’s vision to improve Kano’s transportation sector.

 

Shu’aibu expressed gratitude for the warm reception and assured that Kano Line would be fully prepared and well-organized to facilitate seamless transportation for pilgrims during the Hajj operations.
