The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has on Friday officially launches the airlifting of pilgrimage goods to Kano.

This significant initiative marks a new era in the facilitation and support of pilgrims traveling for religious purposes.

The launch ceremony, held at the Kano House in the Kudai Area in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was attended by the Director of Operations, representatives from all committees, officials, local government Hajj center officers, and media.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u marked the bags with Max Air tags, signifying that the goods are for Kano pilgrims. The event highlighted the Board’s commitment to ensuring the comfort and convenience of pilgrims.

In his address, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa emphasized the importance of this initiative as part of the preparation for the safe return of pilgrims to their homes. He stated, “Our goal is to provide seamless and efficient services to our pilgrims. The airlifting of goods is a crucial step in ensuring that our pilgrims have all the necessary supplies and support during their spiritual journey.”

The Director General also outlined the rules and regulations in place to ensure the smooth operation of this initiative. He thanked the state government, under the able leadership of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusif, aviation authorities, and other stakeholders for their cooperation and support in making this project a reality.

This initiative is part of the broader efforts by the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board to improve and modernize pilgrimage operations. By providing timely and efficient transportation of goods, the Board aims to reduce the burden on pilgrims and enhance their overall experience.
