The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Usman, has pledged to strengthen the Commission’s collaboration with tour operators to ensure seamless Hajj operations.

 

He made this commitment during the inauguration of the new office of the Association of Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) in Lagos today.

 

Professor Usman also assured the association of NAHCON’s readiness to address key challenges, particularly those related to the issuance of Umrah visas.

 

Speaking at the event, NAHCON’s Commissioner of Operations, Prince Anofiu Elegushi, disclosed that the Commission had concluded the screening of tour operators who applied for the 2025 Hajj license.

 

In his remarks, the Chairman of the AHUON Board of Trustees, Abdulfatai Abdulmajeed, expressed gratitude to NAHCON for its support and vowed to foster a productive partnership with the Commission.
