The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on Friday hosted Eclipse Technologies for a detailed presentation on a new Pilgrim Registration Module designed to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in Hajj operations.

The technical session, held at the Commission’s boardroom in Abuja, had in attendance the Commissioner for Policy, Personnel, Management and Finance (PRSILS), Professor Abubakar Yagawal; Commissioner for Operations, Prince Anofi Olanrewaju; and the Secretary of the Commission, Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Ali.

Also present were the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Alhaji Alidu Shutti; Director of Planning, Malam Ibrahim Mahmood; Head of ICT; Head of Software Projects; and other senior staff of the Commission.

Leading the Eclipse Technologies delegation, IT expert Mr. Jide Abiose and Mr. Gbolahan delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Pilgrim Registration Module a dual web and mobile-based application tailored to streamline the registration process for intending pilgrims.

According to the presentation, the innovation is built to enhance data integrity, improve accessibility, and promote transparency in the overall management of pilgrim information.

Participants were taken through a hands-on demonstration of the platform’s user-friendly interface, its core functionalities, and its seamless integration capability with NAHCON’s existing digital infrastructure.

Discussions during the session focused on data security, system scalability, and potential areas of collaboration to align the solution with NAHCON’s operational framework.
In their remarks, the Commission’s representatives commended Eclipse Technologies for the innovative presentation and reaffirmed NAHCON’s commitment to leveraging modern technology to improve Hajj management and service delivery to Nigerian pilgrims.

The engagement marks another milestone in NAHCON’s ongoing digital transformation initiative aimed at creating a more efficient, transparent, and technology-driven Hajj administration.
