The Consul General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Ibrahim Muazzum, has reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to ensure a smooth and successful 2025 Hajj exercise.
Ambassador Muazzum gave the assurance on Tuesday during a courtesy visit to NAHCON’s advance team at its Makkah office located in Umul Juhd.
He stated that his office remains open 24/7 to address all consular-related matters and reiterated his resolve to pursue all initiatives that will benefit Nigerian pilgrims, whom he described as “guests of Allah.”
While receiving the envoy, the Advance Team Leader, Alidu Shutti, on behalf of the NAHCON Chairman/CEO, briefed the Consul General and his entourage on the Commission’s ongoing preparations for the forthcoming pilgrimage.
Shutti noted that NAHCON is fully committed to ensuring that no stone is left unturned in the effort to make the 2025 Hajj a huge success. He also conveyed the Chairman’s appreciation for the Consul General’s consistent support to the Commission and Nigerian pilgrims in general
