The giant stride recorded by The NAHCON current chairman, Professor Saleh Usman in uplifting the spiritual reawakening of the Pilgrims is far reaching and deeply engaging. This cannot be unconnected with the fact that he himself is a renowned Islamic scholar and an experienced Hajj affairs manager.

Knowing fully well the fabric of the complex Nigeria’s religious nature, Prof Saleh carefully consolidated the fragile nest by bringing in all and sundry so to consolidate the unprecedented success of making 2025 Nigerian Pilgrims spiritually ready and enlightened to worship their Creator SWT with clean mind and readiness to tolerate one another.

Programs mounted and machineries put in place ranging from health service delivery, welfare and related orientation are by far below the need for proper understanding of the tenants guiding this all-important ritual. The pilgrims need to get educated on the step by step Islamic teaching of the pilgrimage and above all that the sincerity of intention as an exclusive devotion tailored towards gaining the pleasure of Allah SWT not to just show up, boost or look down on others as inferior.

In order to ensure a massive orientation, training and educating the 2025 Nigerian pilgrims, The Chairman, Professor Pakistan scouted for competent and able scholars across the country to undertake this enormous task before and after leaving the country.

Other areas worth nothing by Professor Abdallahi in 2025 Hajj operation include and not limited to his indefatigable effort in making sure that the Hajj fare itself is trimmed to the minimal possible degree which he accomplished since. All other areas critical to the 2025 Hajj operation ranging from accommodation, feeding, transportation in both Mecca and Madina to Minna and Arafat were satisfactorily worthwhile.

No human endeavor is hitch-free, The Chairman to strengthen the evaluation mechanism and use the outcome for making the next years Hajjj another resounding success in sha Allah SWT. Those who discharged their assigned tasks are properly commended and equally acknowledged officially and those messed up made to bear the consequences. Nigeria needs to strive to emulate other nations where commitment is rewarded and laxity punished for the public interest
