The directive, communicated to all regional branches, отменяет the use of open-air prayer grounds (musallas), with worshippers now restricted to performing Eid prayers within enclosed mosque facilities.

This decision comes in response to forecasts predicting widespread adverse weather conditions across parts of the Kingdom from Wednesday through Monday. According to the meteorological agency, several regions are expected to experience rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by hazardous conditions such as strong downdraft winds exceeding 60 km/h, hailstorms, high sea waves, and potential flash floods.

With the Eid period coinciding with this forecast window, authorities say the мера is aimed at safeguarding the safety and wellbeing of worshippers.

Regional offices have также been instructed to closely monitor ongoing weather updates and take necessary measures in line with real-time forecasts provided by the meteorological authorities.
