The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has directed all intending pilgrims for the 2027 Hajj to complete payment of their outstanding Hajj fares on or before Thursday, September 24, 2026, by 12:00 noon.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Outfit, Ibrahim Adamu Datti, the Agency said the decision followed the shortened deadline issued for the remittance of Hajj fares to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
It warned that intending pilgrims who fail to complete their payments within the stipulated timeframe risk losing their allocated slots for the 2027 Hajj exercise.
According to the Agency, NAHCON had initially given states until December 2, 2026, to complete the remittance process.
However, the deadline was subsequently reviewed and brought forward, prompting the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency to appeal to all intending pilgrims to comply with the new deadline.
The Agency therefore urged all pilgrims who are yet to complete their payments to do so promptly to avoid losing their Hajj slots.
