According to an official announcement by the Board, the exercise is scheduled to hold on Saturday, January 10, and Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Permanent Hajj Camp, Bassan Jiwa, near the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The Board stated that all intending pilgrims are expected to report at the camp from 8:00 a.m. each day with evidence of payment for the Hajj exercise.

It stressed that attendance is compulsory, as the programme will feature lectures on Hajj rites, newly introduced policies, and other relevant information aimed at adequately preparing pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj operations.

The announcement, signed by the Public Relations Officer on behalf of the management, emphasized that the orientation exercise is a critical part of preparations to ensure that intending pilgrims are well-informed and guided ahead of their spiritual journey.

The Board urged all registered pilgrims to comply with the directive to avoid any setbacks in their participation in the 2026 Hajj.
