The last batch of about 290 pilgrims who performed this year’s Hajj has returned home after spending 37 to 38 days in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The MaxAir flight NGL 265 arrived at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport Bauchi today Tuesday *2* at exactly *2:50pm* .
In a statement by Information Officer of the Board, Muhammad Sani Yunusa, said among the returnees were State Amirul Hajj 2024 His Royal Highness the Emir of Dass Alh Usman Bilyaminu Othman with his Team, Special Adviser to His Excellency on Hajj Affairs Hon. Shehu Alh. Wadaji, the chairman of the Board Nuru Adamu Jumba and his Members and the Executive Secretary Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris and his staff, preachers, Hajj guide and other pilgrims.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after his arrival at the Bauchi International Airport , the Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris expresses delight over a smooth and hitch free 2024 hajj operation.
He said 2024 Hajj operation is First of its kind, acknowledged that there were a lot of achievements at the operation.
Imam Abdurrahman attributed the recordes achievements to early preparation, timely securing of Visas to pilgrims and above all support and encouragement receives from His Excellency, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, the Governor of Bauchi State.
He further thanked hajj stakeholders who on one way or the other made contribution to the success of the exercise, prayed Allah to reward everyone.
On his part, the Chairman Publicity Committee of the 2024 Amirul Hajj Team, Alh Yayanuwa Zainabari appreciated the role of the media team in the abreast of the general public on every step of Hajj Operation.
According to him, the media reports/news and programmes on Hajj has adequately bridged the communication gabs between the Government and the people.
