The Hajj and Umrah Health Society has announced the opening of registration for its 2026 Hajj volunteer programme, targeting both hejalthcare professionals and students in related fields.
The registration exercise, which commenced on April 8, 2026, will close on April 18, 2026.
The initiative is designed to support healthcare services during the Hajj season while offering participants valuable hands-on experience.
According to the organisers, the programme is open to licensed health practitioners as well as students pursuing studies in medical and allied health disciplines.
However, all applicants are required to possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS), also known as “Safeer Al-Hayat,” certification.
Successful applicants will benefit from a range of support services, including transportation and meals throughout the period of service. In addition, outstanding volunteers will be eligible for incentive-based rewards.
Participants will also undergo specialised training and rehabilitation programmes tailored to the unique demands of Hajj healthcare operations, equipping them with practical skills in managing large-scale medical services.
The initiative aims to enhance the quality of care provided to pilgrims while fostering professional development among volunteers in the health sector.
