The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the distribution of an additional fare refund of N7,311 to each eligible pilgrim who participated in the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Habibu Yusuf Babura, the exercise was officially flagged off by the Director-General of the Board, Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo, at the Board’s headquarters in Dutse.
Speaking shortly after the commencement of the exercise, Alhaji Labbo directed the Board’s zonal officers to begin immediate distribution of the refunds across the various zonal offices in the state to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive their entitlements without delay.
