The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has announced the commencement of registration for the 2027 Hajj exercise and has called on all intending pilgrims to begin the process without delay.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Ibrahim Datti, prospective pilgrims are advised to visit any of the Agency’s 23 Local Government Pilgrims Offices or the Agency’s Headquarters along Katsina Road, Kaduna, to obtain the official bank payment teller and complete the registration process.
The Agency cautioned members of the public to make all Hajj payments only into the official Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency bank account. It stressed that it neither accepts cash payments nor payments into private or personal accounts and will not be responsible for any loss resulting from transactions made outside the designated Agency account.
While the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has approved a minimum initial deposit of ₦4,000,000, the Agency strongly encourages intending pilgrims to deposit ₦8,000,000 in anticipation of the official announcement of the final fare for the 2027 Hajj.
The Agency also urged intending pilgrims to register early, recalling that during the previous Hajj exercise, several prospective pilgrims missed the opportunity to perform Hajj because they failed to complete their registration before the deadline.
According to the Agency, 26 September 2026 remains the official deadline for the 2027 Hajj registration as approved by NAHCON, adding that no registration will be entertained after the closing date.
For further information, intending pilgrims should visit the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency Headquarters on Katsina Road, Kaduna, any of the 23 Local Government Pilgrims Offices, or call 0701 070 1561.
