As part of preparations for the commencement of the 2025 Hajj deposit and pilgrims’ registration, the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board held a joint meeting on Tuesday with its board members and management staff.

 

The meeting, which took place in the Board’s Conference Hall, focused on reviewing key issues from the 2024 Hajj operations and outlining strategies for the 2025 Hajj deposit collections and pilgrims’ registration.

 

In his welcome address, the Board Chairman, Alhaji Kabir Bature Sarkin Alhazai, commended both the board members and staff for their dedication and commitment during the 2024 Hajj exercise. He expressed his appreciation for their tireless efforts in ensuring the success of the operations.

 

The Executive Director of the Board, Alhaji Yunusa Abdullahi Dankama, also lauded the management and staff for their hard work. He provided a briefing on a recent meeting held in Abuja by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), which addressed preparations for the upcoming 2025 Hajj deposit collections and registration process.

 

Alhaji Dankama further called for continued cooperation between board members, management, and staff to ensure the board’s ongoing success. He also expressed gratitude to the Governor of Katsina State, Mallam Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, for his consistent support of the Board.

 

A key highlight of the meeting was the introduction of the newly appointed Director of Administration and Supply, Mallam Nasiru Ladan.
