The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has inspected the Bauchi State Hajj Camp as part of its ongoing assessment of Hajj facilities across the North-East zone.

According to the Information Officer of the Board, the inspection team was led by the Secretary of the Commission, Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Ali, and the Commissioner representing the North-East, Alhaji Abba Jatau. They were accompanied by the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ibrahim Idris.
The exercise, according to the Commission, is aimed at assessing the readiness and standard of Hajj camps in the North-East in line with NAHCON’s directives and its commitment to improving facilities and services for pilgrims.
Speaking after inspecting the facility, Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Ali expressed satisfaction with the standard and facilities available at the Bauchi State Hajj Camp.
He described the camp as a befitting facility constructed through the efforts of the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, noting that the facility would contribute to improving the comfort and welfare of pilgrims.
The NAHCON Secretary also commended the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ibrahim Idris, and his team for their continued cooperation and support towards the Commission’s efforts to enhance Hajj operations and pilgrims’ welfare in the state.
The inspection formed part of NAHCON’s wider assessment tour of Hajj camps and facilities across the North-East zone.
