The recent decision by Mr President to reduce the cost of Hajj Fair is commendable in requesting NAHCON to critically review the cost and decide appropriately.

The President is the Commander In chief but giving the Commission chance to make positive considerations before deciding what lower amount for Nigerian Pilgrims.

As the Head of the Nigerian Government definitely he knows the critical situation under which the NAHCON is operating so he refused the direct a specific amount in the reduction order.

I highly appreciate his decision because the Chairman of the Commission Professor Pakistan is being selfishly pressurized by some selfish Nigerians to effect 50% reduction without knowing the the implications to the general Hajj operations.

How can the Commission make such decisions without wider connections and consultations with Stakeholders both in and out of the Country.

An ignorant blind folded writer from Kano was calling for the dismissal of the Chairman if he fails to make 50% reduction without asking the Commission to look at the possibility of the reduction. Time is due for our selfish politicians to stop blocking appointed Heads of federal Parastatals instead of supporting them to success.

A President who on daily basis is receiving reports of all Government Organs operations can graciously ask the commission to sit down and look forward for the reduction without specifying the amount this is an excellent and sensible directive.

I sincerely commends Mr able President for this remarkable sensible order that can help the Commission to work effectively for the Nigerian Pilgrims. Such wise decisions are very important towards putting the country on the right track for our progress.

If the respected President can do this how can an ordinary and ignorant caller asked Professor Pakistan to make outright reduction of 50% or face dismissal. Hajj operations is vast and critical no one can make a reduction of hajj Fares without collective decision and considerations of stakeholders.

We know some are desperate to see the removal of NAHCON Chairman to fave way for his political masters who are known for their selfish political leadership of acquiring for their Clans and immediate friends.
