Saudi Arabia has commenced early preparations for the 1448 AH Hajj season, with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah holding coordination meetings with Hajj Affairs Offices from more than 75 countries.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening cooperation between Saudi authorities and the countries sending pilgrims for the annual pilgrimage, while ensuring that operational arrangements are made well ahead of the Hajj season.
During the meetings, Saudi officials are reviewing preparations, outlining key procedures and explaining the regulations and requirements that will guide the upcoming Hajj operations.
Representatives of participating countries are also being given the opportunity to seek clarification on the guidelines, raise operational concerns and discuss the specific needs of their respective Hajj missions.
The early consultations are expected to enhance coordination, improve preparedness and ensure that necessary arrangements are completed on schedule.
The Ministry says the advance planning is part of efforts to enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims and make their Hajj experience smoother, safer and more organized.
