The Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA) has commenced the capturing of international passports of intending pilgrims on the E-Track platform as part of preparations for the forthcoming Hajj exercise.

In a statement by the Head of Information and Communications of the Agency, Faruku Umar, said the exercise is aimed at ensuring accurate documentation, seamless data management, and compliance with guidelines set by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

It will also facilitate timely processing of pilgrims’ Visa and enhance overall efficiency in Hajj operations.

The Agency urges all intending pilgrims to cooperate fully with officials during the exercise and to present valid international passports and other required documents for successful capturing.

The management of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency assures pilgrims of its commitment to transparent, efficient, and pilgrim-friendly service delivery throughout the Hajj preparation process.
