The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has officially announced the departure of the third flight today.

This announcement was made during the farewell ceremony for the third flight of Kano State pilgrims at King Abdul-Aziz International Airport, Jeddah.

In his address, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa prayed for the pilgrims’ safe arrival.

He advised them to promptly go to the Hajj Camp to collect their luggage and receive five liters of Zamzam water, a gift from the Kano State Government.

The pilgrims are being transported by Max Air, including pilgrims from 12 Local Government Areas. The numbers are as follows:

– Gwarzo: 53 pilgrims (41 males, 12 females)
– Ghari: 20 pilgrims (16 males, 4 females)
– Gaya: 25 pilgrims (12 males, 13 females)
– Bichi: 50 pilgrims (28 males, 22 females)
– Kiru: 78 pilgrims (52 males, 26 females)
– Wudil: 44 pilgrims (32 males, 12 females)
– Dawakin Tofa: 123 pilgrims (75 males, 48 females)
– Bagwai: 13 pilgrims (10 males, 3 females)
– Shanono: 15 pilgrims (12 males, 3 females)
– Karaye: 44 pilgrims (32 males, 12 females)
– Rogo: 72 pilgrims (60 males, 12 females)
– Tsanyawa: 17 pilgrims (13 males, 4 females)

The flight will depart today, July 4, 2024, heading to Malam Aminu Kano International Airport with a total of 555 pilgrims from Kano State.
