The United Arab Emirates has announced the registration schedule for citizens wishing to perform Hajj in the 1448 AH/2027 pilgrimage season.
According to the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, applications will open on September 14, 2026, and close on September 25, 2026.
Eligible Emirati citizens will be able to submit their applications through the Authority’s smart application and official website.
Following the registration exercise, applicants will undergo an automated screening process in line with UAE Cabinet Resolution No. 32 of 2018 and other approved selection criteria.
The screening process is expected to be completed by October 9, 2026, when the names of successful applicants will be announced. Those selected will subsequently be contacted to complete the necessary Hajj procedures.
The Authority said preparations are already underway for the 2027 Hajj season, with efforts focused on ensuring efficient registration, selection and improved services for Emirati pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage.
