The Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, has called on intending pilgrims who have completed their passport capture to proceed to the Immigration Office to collect their passports.
In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, Alhaji Abubakar Matawalle made the call today during a press briefing held at the Board’s Conference Hall.
The Director-General reiterated that the deadline for passport uploading remains 31 August 2026.
He therefore urged all intending pilgrims who had their passports captured within the last ten days up to last Friday to hurry to the Immigration Office and collect their passports, as over 700 passports are now ready for collection.
Matawalle explained that the Board can only upload pilgrims onto the server and commence the necessary processing for the Hajj exercise after receiving their passports.
He also appreciated the contributions and cooperation of the Nigerian Immigration Service towards the success of the exercise.
