The second phase of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage officially begins today, Wednesday, May 14, marking the fourth day since the arrival of the first batch of Nigerian pilgrims in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

In line with the policy agreed upon by Hajj stakeholders, Nigerian pilgrims are to spend four days in the holy city of Madinah before proceeding to Makkah. Pilgrims from Bauchi, Imo, Kebbi, and Kogi States are now set to begin this next leg of their spiritual journey.

Throughout their stay in Madinah, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has provided pilgrims with high-standard accommodations and meals. Many of the pilgrims have expressed satisfaction and appreciation for the quality of services rendered by the Commission.

Meanwhile, NAHCON officials in Makkah have assured that all necessary arrangements have been finalized to receive the pilgrims warmly as they transition to the next stage of the pilgrimage.

The airlift operation is progressing smoothly, with more Nigerian pilgrims continuing to arrive in Madinah as scheduled.
