The Borno State Hajj Commission has announced that the collection of the initial deposit for the 2027 Hajj exercise (1448AH) will commence on Monday, July 13, 2026, and end on Friday, September 25, 2026.
According to a statement issued by the Commission’s management, intending pilgrims are expected to make an initial deposit ranging between ₦5 million and ₦7.5 million, depending on the amount they wish to contribute toward their total Hajj fare.
The Commission explained that all prospective pilgrims must first obtain and complete the official Pre-Registration Form from the Borno State Hajj Commission before making any payment at the designated bank.
It warned that payments made without first obtaining the Commission’s pre-registration form may not be processed, urging intending pilgrims to strictly adhere to the approved registration procedure.
The Commission also advised members of the public seeking further clarification or guidance to visit its office during official working hours.
It further encouraged all intending pilgrims to complete their registration and deposit within the stipulated period to enable the Commission to commence early planning and processing for the successful conduct of the 2027 Hajj exercise.
