The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has fixed September 26, 2026, as the deadline for intending pilgrims to pay the mandatory ₦4 million Hajj 2027 seat reservation deposit and submit their valid International Passports.
In a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Datti, the Agency urged all registered and prospective pilgrims who intend to perform the 2027 Hajj to make use of the remaining period to complete their registration requirements.
According to the Agency, intending pilgrims may either pay the ₦4,000,000 initial deposit to secure their seats or make full payment of the approved Hajj fare of ₦7,672,822.
The Agency also directed all intending pilgrims to submit their valid International Passports, alongside other required information and documents, to enable the timely completion of their registration and other Hajj-related processes.
Pilgrims have been advised to visit any of the Agency’s offices across the 23 Local Government Areas of Kaduna State, or its headquarters located along Katsina Road, Kaduna, to complete the necessary procedures.
Those who opt to pay the initial ₦4 million deposit are required to settle the outstanding balance on or before December 2, 2026.
The Agency warned that failure to comply with the stipulated deadlines could lead to the forfeiture of a pilgrim’s seat, noting that some intending pilgrims lost their seats during the previous Hajj operation after failing to meet the required payment deadlines.
It further cautioned intending pilgrims against paying Hajj-related fees to individuals or depositing money into personal bank accounts.
The Agency stressed that all Hajj payments must be made exclusively through the official bank account designated by the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency for Hajj operations.
The Agency therefore called on intending pilgrims to treat the deadlines seriously and complete their payments, passport submission and other registration requirements within the stipulated period to avoid unnecessary difficulties or possible loss of their Hajj seats.
