The Kano state pilgrims fourth flight have already arrived in Jeddah and proceeded to Madina, while the fifth departed to Madina at exactly 3:49am Wednesday.
In a statement signed by Kano Head of Hajj Media Team 2016, Mustapha Muhammad, the sixth flight has taken off from Aminu Kano International Airport, signaling that only the seventh which is the last flight is awaiting to be airlifted to Saudi Arabia.
The fourth flight consists of 559 pilgrims, the fifth had 524 while the sixth 392.
Out of 3620 Kano pilgrims only about 300 remain waiting to be airlifted today.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has been working round the clock to ensure that all intending Pligrims are being airlifted today Wednesday.
Moreover, the pilgrims of the first flight had already moved to Mecca while the second flight pilgrims are on their way to Mecca today (Wednesday) for the third flight are expected to be transported to Mecca tomorrow Thursday.
