The Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has fulfilled his earlier promise to the state’s 2025 Hajj pilgrims by providing each pilgrim with a gift of 250 Saudi Riyals.

This financial gesture, aimed at supporting the pilgrims during the Sallah period and easing their stay in the Holy Land, was confirmed today by the Governor’s representative and Head of the Kano Hajj Delegation Committee, His Highness Alhaji Muhammad Maharaz Karaye, the Emir of Karaye.
While addressing the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia at Makkah’s Shari Mansur Kano House No. 1, the Emir conveyed the Governor’s message of goodwill and encouraged all pilgrims to intensify prayers for the peace, progress, and development of Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.
In addition to the monetary support, the Committee Secretary and Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, assured that no pilgrim was left out in the disbursement process. He also announced that each pilgrim will receive a large travel bag as part of preparations for the return journey home.
The Kano State Government remains committed to the welfare of its citizens and continues to prioritize the well-being of pilgrims during the Hajj exercise.
