No fewer than 9,015,322 iftar meals were provided to fasting worshippers at Masjid an-Nabawi during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH.
The meals, served free of charge, were distributed across the mosque’s premises and surrounding courtyards under the supervision of the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
According to the Authority, the large-scale feeding initiative was executed through a well-coordinated system designed to maintain high standards of hygiene, quality, and safety throughout the exercise.
The operation was conducted in collaboration with relevant agencies and volunteers, reflecting a strong spirit of cooperation and humanitarian service.
The initiative aimed at ensuring that worshippers and visitors could observe their fast with ease, allowing them to concentrate fully on their spiritual activities in a serene and supportive environment.
