The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has reminded holders of multiple-entry Umrah visas that they must comply with all regulations governing the booking of Umrah service packages through licensed service providers.

The Ministry said that having a valid multiple-entry visa does not exempt pilgrims from obtaining the required services for each visit. According to the Ministry, a service package must be purchased through an approved provider on the Nusuk platform every time a pilgrim enters the Kingdom.
The multiple-entry Umrah visa, introduced by the Ministry in July, is valid for 365 days from the date of issuance and allows beneficiaries to enter Saudi Arabia several times. However, the total duration of stay throughout the visa’s validity must not exceed 90 days.
The Ministry further explained that the duration of each service package must remain within the remaining validity period of the visa. Pilgrims are also required to comply with regulations governing the duration of their Umrah programmes and the services provided.
Before travelling to Saudi Arabia, visa holders must obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk application. The permit dates must correspond with the dates covered by the approved service package, in addition to meeting all other travel and entry requirements.
For the first visit, pilgrims are required to select and purchase a service package from an approved provider on the Nusuk platform before submitting their visa application. The application is then processed by the relevant authorities.
The Ministry added that travel eligibility will be verified before departure, while the pilgrim’s entry and departure details will be recorded and updated in the system. This process also enables authorities to calculate the remaining period of stay available to the pilgrim.
The Ministry stressed that multiple-entry visa holders must follow the approved procedures and obtain the required services for every visit to ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia’s Umrah regulations.
